Our Values

Photo 51 CIC is built on values we live by in every session, every partnership and every piece of work we do. These are not branding statements. They are commitments. We cannot bring communities into focus while tolerating the systems, attitudes and behaviours that push them out of the frame.

Value 1: Inclusion Without Compromise

We design inclusion in from the beginning. Every person deserves to be seen, respected and given a genuine way in.

Value 2: Anti-Racism in Action

We do not treat anti-racism as optional or symbolic. We actively challenge racism, racial inequality and the systems that produce exclusion.

Value 3: Dignity and Respect

Everyone we work with, including young people, families, staff, volunteers and partners, deserves dignity and respect.

Value 4: Community First

We build with communities, not for them. We stay rooted in local context and measure success by real impact, not outputs alone.

Value 5: Creative Empowerment

Creativity is a practical tool for change. We use film, music, storytelling and digital skills to build confidence, opportunity and voice.

Value 6: Safeguarding as a Value

Safeguarding is not just a procedure. The safety and wellbeing of children and young people sits at the centre of our work.

Value 7: Accountability and Transparency

We hold ourselves to the standards we set. When we fall short, we own it, learn from it and do better.

Value 8: Wellbeing of Our Team

We cannot serve communities well if the people doing the work are not supported. Staff and volunteer wellbeing matters

Value 9: Every Voice Matters

We actively seek feedback, ideas and constructive criticism from participants, staff, partners and communities. Young people are not just recipients of our work. They help shape it.

Photo 51 CIC has a zero-tolerance position on racism, discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation and prejudice in any form. There are no exceptions
